Posted this in January 2022…so there is a lot of new things to add. Next video will include some of those things…however I just want to remind us of the prophecies that we see coming to fruition every day…especially in the past 2 years.
What is Salvation? Why do people need to be saved? How can I be saved?
Salvation is to be saved…We were all separated from God by sin. All have sinned and the way we get back right standing with God is through his grace.
2 Corinthians 5:21; Roman 3:22-24
We need to be saved because of sin…
Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23
God provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins and not have sin held against us any longer…
We can receive forgiveness and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ:
The Gospel Message is this 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
What do I do to be saved?
Repent (change your mind)…meaning change from unbelief to belief. Believe the Gospel of your salvation that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
When you do this you will be changed:
2 Cor 5:17
What happens when you receive Christ?
The Holy Spirit then comes to help you and seals you for redemption.
Rest in the full assurance of your faith: Hebrews 10:19-25
ADMIT THAT YOU’RE A SINNER. This is where that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against the righteous god and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out.
BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was.
CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
